Magical Maternity – Gina Booth
Gina had missed out on having a maternity photo shoot with her older 2 children and really wanted to capture this magical time of her life this time around so it was third time lucky and lucky for me she chose me to capture her images <3 and she was absolutely stunning.
There were so many gorgeous images in Gina's gallery with a few outfit changes for added variation <3
Once we had got Gina's images we brought in the rest of the family for some family shots and can totally tell this little baby is totally loved before he is even arrived and i can’t wait to photograph them all again in January <3

So I am usually not very forward in asking people I photograph for feedback on their session, but I decided to make an effort to start....and I started with Gina ! I'm so glad I did too because her feedback and being able to hear from her how she felt about her session was awesome :)
So I gave Gina a few general questions in regards to her session with me and her reply is in full below

"How did I decide on the photographer?
Firstly Rachel’s name came up recommended for mother and baby photo sessions on the local facebook pages, then after looking at her website I was delighted by the quality of her pictures. I asked my heavily pregnant photographer friend what she thought of Rachel’s images, her response was full of praise since she thought the lighting was award winning standard. This convinced me to contact Rachel for a pregnancy photo session.
What did I like about the photographer?
Rachel was very down to earth and personable. Nothing felt too much trouble and she didn’t make me feel embarrassed about being half naked or guilty about bringing my children. She went to the lengths of providing entertainment in the lounge and sweets for bribery to help my children smile on request. Rachel was very talented at getting my children to smile naturally rather than through gritted teeth.
What was my experience like with this photographer and during the photo session?
I was offered a nice chilled bottle of water and my family was offered cups of tea. We were made to feel very comfortable in Rachel’s home. Rachel had loads of props and outfits plus invited me to bring some of my own favorites. I really enjoyed the suggestions Rachel had put together. We spent lots of time discussing in advanced what I was hoping to achieve. So on the day Rachel had it nailed.
Did my photos /experience meet my expectations?
I was very nervous and had some reservations about how it would go and wondered if I could be relaxed. In total the whole session was very enjoyable and a very pleasant experience. I want to do one every week now!
The photos were top quality. Wherever I asked for a slight enhancement or tweak, I was very pleasantly surprised at how seamlessly perfect the images were.
After a lovely relaxed photo review session in Rachel’s house we were offered the option of picking out our favorites or buying all of them on a disc. Since they were all so breathtakingly professional and captured many special moments, we chose to buy them all
I couldn’t recommend Rachel’s photography sessions highly enough. When I showed my photographer friend she was amazed at how good the lighting and positioning was. I can’t wait to do my newborn baby sessions next."
